THE CANCER CARE CENTER OF YORK COUNTY RECEIVES $2,500 DONATION TO HONOR BOB AND CAROLYN HARDISON

December 5, 2008…The Cancer Care Center of York County (CCCYC) is the recipient of a $2,500 gift from Hayes Pump, Inc of West Concord, Massachusetts, which recently purchased Sanford-based Atlantic Pump and Engineering from Bob and Carolyn Hardison. The donation was made by Eric Zadravec, President of Hayes Pump, to ‘”commemorate this transaction and to honor the professional and personal contributions of Sanford residents Bob and Carolyn Hardison, who have given so much to their community over the years.”

The Hardisons have been strong supporters of the Cancer Care Center, a state-of-the-art medical oncology and radiation treatment facility, since early in its planning stage and Bob has been the Chair of its Board of Directors since its opening in March 2006. The Center is only one of many organizations in the Sanford area that have received support from Hardisons over the years. Bob has served on several non-profit boards including Goodall Hospital and the Sanford Planning Committee, and Carolyn is on the Board of Directors of the Southern Maine Chapter Embroiderers Guild of America. The couple is also very active in their church.

Located off Rte 109 between Kennebunk and Sanford, Maine, the Cancer Care Center of York County has been serving a growing number of patients from the Kennebunk, Wells, Biddeford, Sanford and York areas.
